Hook analysis: scoring the first 3 seconds of a reel

How hook analysis works in Napisy AI: AI scores the opening of your reel (audio and image), places colour-coded fix markers on the Premiere timeline and suggests a stronger first sentence.

The first seconds decide whether a viewer stays. The Hook module scores the opening of your reel before you publish it.

What you get

  • a hook score from 1 to 10 with a short explanation,
  • colour-coded markers on the timeline where something needs fixing (e.g. an intro that is too long, no clear point, a strong shot worth keeping),
  • suggestions for a stronger first sentence – to record or to put on screen as text.

Image analysis

Besides the audio, the plugin can also assess the image: it saves a dozen or so frames from the start of the sequence (more densely in the first seconds), and AI judges the first frame, the on-screen text and whether a face is visible in the first second. Notes about the image go on the timeline as separate markers.

How to run it

Open the sequence with your reel, go to the Hook module and start the analysis. If the recording has no transcript yet, the plugin transcribes it first (this uses minutes). You can reopen the result from History.

Limits

The number of analyses depends on your plan – check it in Dashboard → Products. An analysis that fails because of an AI error does not use up your limit; you can repeat it with the Spróbuj ponownie (Try again) button.

Frequently asked questions

Does hook analysis use minutes?

The analysis itself does not. Only transcribing the recording uses minutes, if it has not been transcribed yet.

Does reopening a result count towards the limit?

No. Only a new, successful analysis counts.
