FAQ

Can I fix captions after they’re placed?

Yes. In the Edit module you select clips on the timeline and change text, style, motion or colour. When the word count stays the same, word timings stay frame-accurate.

I need plain SRT captions. Is that possible?

Yes. The “Plain” option creates a standard Premiere caption track, and every transcription also saves an .srt file in the project folder.

What about background music?

You choose which audio tracks are transcribed – for example only A1 with the voice. Music doesn’t end up in the captions.

What happens to the audio file?

It’s deleted right after transcription. The caption text stays in your account for a limited time so you can edit it, then it’s deleted automatically.
